I hope everyone is getting ready for a wonderful Easter weekend! I know I’m looking forward to it. Alex loves Easter and we’re all looking forward to Elliott’s first opportunity to hunt eggs! Prepare yourself to be bombarded with egg hunt pictures in a few days.
I’m sitting here nursing Elliott while she stares up at me with a very concerned look on her face. Why, you ask? Because I’ve got a clay mask on my face that has dried in a very alien-esque manner. Imagine what must me going through her little mind! She’s giving the occasional unsure, nervous laugh. I should probably go wash it off before I set her up for a lifetime of therapy.
Today we’re taking the kids to see Horton Hears a Who. Horton is my very favorite Seuss story and I love the original animated movie so much that I’m a bit nervous that this might spoil my Horton love. I’ll keep you posted on that. I think Alex will love the surprise and Elliott….well….we’ll see how she does in the movie! Wish us luck!
Have a great Friday!
EDIT:::It’s a really good thing it’s dark in theaters. I just washed of that fabulous mask–the one I’ve used a million and one times with amazing results–and my face and neck are a lovely shade of red. Scarlet. Crimson. Umm…burgandy? Remind me the next time I want to do something nice for myself….to do it when the kids are asleep so I can promptly wash it off at the 15 minute mark…rather than the 32 minute mark.
And no. No, I will not be sharing pics of this special event in my life. It’s just not a pretty moment.
you know you want to show us the lovely shades of red! lol. Enjoy the movie.
Awww man, I want to see the aftermath! I hope it returns to normal soon! Have fun at the movie, EMMA seen it Wednesday and LOVED it. I didnt go, so maybe I will go see it too!
I like red, but I sure do hope that you’ve returned to a “normal” shade of flesh now. 🙂
I can’t wait to see the Egg Hunt pics.! How fun!
I took the kids to see Horton Hears A Who today and it was cute! I chuckled here and there and the kids sat still the whole time and that says alot! hehe!
Can’t wait for the Easter pics!!!!
